Project 1 : Precedent Study
In group of 5, we are assigned to research on one of the prominent master in architecture , Mies Van der Rohe's Barcelona Pavilion. The in-depth analysis allowed our group to have a better understanding in Mies' style in architecture, the philosophy and concepts he adopted. I really like how Mies Van der Rohe present his work through his philosophy "Less is more" . I'm truly amazed by Mies as he manage to use only minimum materials to bring out the clean and simple yet elegant pavilion. I believe I'll be able to apply the knowledge I got through this project in my future designs.

Project 2 : Web Book
In this project , my groupmates and I were asked to choose one of the modernized building in Klang Valley , Malaysia and study about it. We decided to research on the first shopping complex in Malaysia, the Ampang Park Shopping Complex. We were able to identify the local/western influnce in architecture style and the architectural features of this building through this project. We studied the differences of modernised building and the current modern building in term of elements , components , materials and the building construction. I do understand more about architecture throughout this project and I believe this does help me in enhancing my design in future time.
