SHAPE GRAMMAR [ARC3153 / ARC3152 / ARC61903]
PROJECT 1 : SHAPE GRAMMAR INSPIRED BY SURROUNDING ELEMENTS
This project is to design a pavilion by applying the shape grammar rules, The rules must be retrieved from the elements that inspired us. In the group of 3, we studied the honeycomb, then came out with a set of rules and started to design the pavilion based on the rules created.
PROJECT 2 : FUTURE HOUSE
In this project, we will be employing multiple rule shape grammar to produce new architectural designs from our own set of rules or rules derived from an existing building which inspires us. We must produce 5 alternative designs of the future house by using the shape rules. Then, out of the 5, choose 1 final design and start to further develop it, such as facade and the floor plans.
